About Us

Fully Tasmanian owned and operated, Tasweld was established in March 1987 to service the Tasmanian market with Welding Equipment & Consumables, Safety Products, Abrasives, and Industrial & Hospitality gases. Tasweld's range of products now includes Hand & Power Tools, Tapes, Work Wear, Clothing and many other related items.

Tasweld commenced trading in Hobart and later expanded, opening a branch in Burnie and then in Launceston.

Commencing with only 6, Tasweld has now grown to 23 staff members with a combined total in excess of 250 years in customer service in the industrial market. The Current directors of Tasweld are Ken Adams and Gary Dawson

In addition to Tasweld's three customer service centre's Tasweld has distributors servicing specific markets such as automotive repair trade, fibreglass manufacturing industry, paint manufactures, plus country gas depots to service local communities with their gas requirements around the state.

Tasweld aims to provide innovative, responsive and customer focused services to all our product range, improving the performance of our customers and helping protect the environment.
